What are your opening hours?
A.

We are open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm (last entry 10:00pm).

What kind of payment methods do you accept?
A.

You can pay by cash, credit card, Alipay, or WeChat Pay.
Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners, Discover, UnionPay.
Barcode payments accepted: PayPay, LINE Pay, AliPay, WeChat Pay
* The automatic payment machines do not accept Discover, UnionPay, and barcode payments.

Q.
Can I use GTP points at Solaniwa Onsen?
A.

Yes, you can. Please present your GTP membership card at a staffed register when making your payment.

What types of hot springs are available?
A.

You can enjoy 9 types of baths, including an open-air bath with natural hot spring water drawn from a source 1,000 meters underground and continuously flowing.

Q.
Do you supply shampoo, conditioner, and body soap?
A.

The main bathing area has shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, facial foam, skin lotion,and milky lotion. You can also use items you bring in yourself.

Tell me about the free amenities.
A.

Yukata robes (for wearing inside the facility), bath towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, toothbrushes, hair brushes, razors, lotion, emulsion, and cotton pads (for women only) are available.
Please note that for additional yukata robes, Bedrock Sauna wear, and Bedrock Sauna towels from the second set onward, a fee of 220 yen each will be charged.

What size costumes / yukatas do you have?
A.

Men’s come in S, M, L, LL, 3L, 4L, and 5L, while women’s come in S, M, L, 2L, and 3LY.

Q.
I have a tattoo. Can I still get into Solaniwa Onsen?
A.

As a general rule, we do not allow those with tattoos or other kinds of body art (Japanese irezumi, body painting, etc.) into our facility.
* However, in consideration of the recent societal demand and foreign cultures and customs, we have implemented a tattoo-concealling sticker system. If your tattoos are fully covered up by stickers sold by Solaniwa Onsen, you may enter our facility and use the baths.
* Effective December 1, 2023, there is no longer be a limit on the number of stickers.

Are unaccompanied minors allowed in?
A.

Parties consisting entirely of children under 13 will not be allowed entry. For parties consisting only of minors above that age,those under the age of 16 must check out by 7:00 pm, and those under 18 by 10:00 pm, as required by law.

Q.
What’s a “bathing tax”?
A.

The bathing tax is a tax levied on users of hot spring baths. It is set by the Osaka municipal government.
It is applied to adults whose entry fee is ¥1,501 or more. It is not applied to children who have yet to graduate elementary school or to the Morning Bath fee.

Is it allowed to wear swimsuits while bathing?
A.

For hygiene reasons, wearing swimsuits while bathing is not allowed.

Q.
Could you tell me the prices?
A.

The prices vary depending on the room type. Please check the prices on this page.
Please note that an additional entry fee is required.

Is the entry fee included?
A.

The price for the Private Baths does not include the entry fee.

Q.
Is it possible to use the facility as a couple?
A.

Regarding the Private Baths, according to Osaka city regulations, use is limited to families (spouses, parents and children, siblings), relatives by blood, or same-sex individuals.

Are there any limits on the number of people?
A.

Please use the facility according to the recommended number of people based on the room size.

Q.
Is it possible to enjoy the facility outside of the reserved time?
A.

You can spend the entire day enjoying the spacious facility, including the natural hot springs, foot baths, various photo spots, amusements, and recliners.

Q.
How many minutes before the reservation time should I arrive?
A.

Before using the Private Baths, you need to complete the admission procedures and change into the facility yukata at the reception.
Please arrive with plenty of time before your reservation to allow for this.
If you arrive late, your end time cannot be extended.
We recommend arriving about 1 hour early to complete the check-in and enjoy exploring the facility until your reserved time.

What kind of food can I eat?
A.

We offer a wide variety of menu options including set meals, à la carte dishes, desserts, alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks.

Q.
I have an allergy. What should I do?
A.

Due to public regulations, we do not, as a general rule, allow food and drink from outside. However, those with food allergies or with infants who can only eat baby food shall be allowed to bring food in as an exceptional case.

Is it possible to bring baby food?
A.

As per regulations, bringing food and drinks from outside is generally not allowed; however, exceptions are made for those with food allergies and for baby food.

Q.
Can I bring a stroller into Solaniwa Onsen?
A.

Strollers are not allowed in the facility to ensure that guests are barefoot. Please use the free lockable storage area.

Q.
Can we stay overnight?
A.

We do not have accommodation facilities at Solaniwa Onsen. If you wish to stay overnight, please use the nearby and convenient Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower.

Is there a smoking area?
A.

There are two smoking areas in the facility (on the 2nd and 4th floors).

Q.
Are there any ATMs in the facility?
A.

There are none inside Solaniwa Onsen, but there are ”Seven Bank ATM in Ropia Store” on the 1st floor of Osaka Bay Tower North, “Post Office ATM” “Kansai Mirai Bank ATM” on the 1st floor of Osaka Bay Tower East, “FamilyMart Osaka Bay Tower ATM” on the 2nd floor of Osaka Bay Tower West.

Q.
Can I bring a wheelchair into Solaniwa Onsen?
A.

Yes. Solaniwa Onsen has wheelchairs available for use inside the facility. We also have wheelchair-friendly Family Baths (paid) available, so please feel free to take advantage of this service.

Is there anywhere I can leave my suitcase?
A.

Coin-operated lockers and an in-facility safekeeping service are available. (Requires a fee)

Q.
What should I do if I accidently leave something behind?
A.

Please contact us.
We store lost-and-found items for a maximum of one month.
After that, we either dispose of the items in accordance with the facility regulations, or notify the police.
