In an expansive Japanese rooftop garden of more than 3,000 m2, enjoy a foot bath in your stylish yukata as you gaze upon the seasonal trees and flowers! In the center of the garden is a great pond, surrounded on all sides by beautiful waterfalls, Solaniwa Koshin-do Shrine, the Thousand Torii Arches, and looking down on them all is Benten Shrine. The whole sight is a feat for the eyes, and posting a snapshot is sure to make your social media followers jealous!

Solaniwa Onsen’s pride and joy are the baths that overlook our expansive Japanese garden, where you can enjoy any of nine bath types including outdoor baths, comprising pure hot spring water brought up from 1,000 meters below the earth’s surface. The spring water is hypotonic and weakly alkaline, and it has a high level of heat. Solaniwa Onsen’s hot spring baths will ameliorate nerve pain, muscle pain, joint pain, bruises, sprains, hemorrhoids, and sensitivity to cold, not to mention helping those recovering from exhaustion or just trying to live healthier!
Private Baths
We’ve got 10 fully-private, spring-water outdoor baths for families, with their own mini-gardens!
At Solaniwa Onsen, you can enjoy any of 10 fully-private, spring-water outdoor baths for families, with their own mini-gardens. We have two Special Rooms to accommodate 4 to 6 people, seven Private Rooms to accommodate 1 to 4 people, and one wheelchair-friendly Private Room. The “Clear Skin Bath” is a natural hot spring which you can enjoy to your heart’s content in a Private Room. Perfect for girls’ nights out and celebrations!
- *Use of the Private Baths incurs an additional fee.
- * Mixed (male/female) use of the reserved baths is limited to families.
Bedrock Sauna
Especially popular are the 7 types of bedrock sauna and the unique Löyly Show that uses projection mapping!
At Neppu Yokocho we have 7 different types of bedrock sauna. These warm the body from the core with the far-infrared rays of a dry sauna, and bring upon you the effects of health, beauty, and healing by sweating out from your deepest core. At Jingu-Bo you can also enjoy the unique Löyly Show that uses projection mapping!
If you wish to use the bedrock sauna, you are requested to apply

Games & Festival Stalls
Have a fun time before and after taking a bath, at our Game Corner where every day is like a Japanese festival!
On the opposite side of kuidaore, across the Benten Road (Restaurants area), you will find yourself at Benten Festival Stalls and Arcade & Games Area that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike
At Benten Festival Stalls, a traditional Japanese festival that runs year-round, you can enjoy a traditional Games Corner.
For you who prefer a modern games, Arcade & Games Area is just behind. Take a Purikura photo wearing your favorite Yukata and play a rhythm game everyone has played once before.
Resting Zone
Instead of lodging facilities, we have a resting area (with recliner chairs) where you can take a nap. We are open all night so you can come in and relax till morning!
At Solaniwa Onsen, we have a large resting area where you can take a nap. We are open all night so you can come in and relax till morning! We are open until 9:00 am, so even if you don’t have a room at another hotel you can stop here at night and take it easy until morning. It’s perfect for before/after you visit the nearby theme park!

Uoshu-yaFish Therapy
Therapy by “Dr. Fish”! Rejuvenate your old skin with the help of fish!
In this hut by the foot baths in Sky Garden, you can experience Dr. Fish’s therapy. Fish will gently nibble away your dead skin — maybe this must be why the Japanese for “a gathering of fish” (uo-shu) sounds like the word “wash”!
