As it expanded and urbanized, fear of such things as pestilence grew, and almost every day somewhere in the city some shrine or temple was holding a ritual to fend off evil spirits. Based on that same concept \u201cBenten Festival Day,\u201d every day is like a Japanese temple festival, and you can enjoy the Game Corner centered around the large shrine float!
